Welcome to my "Diary of a Web 2.0 Prosumer". I discovered the term "prosumer" this fall while reading William Kist's "The Socially Networked Classroom" for a Master's course in teacher-librarianship through the University of Alberta. It seems to sum up perfectly the role of producer and consumer I find myself in when using Web 2.0 tools in my teaching and learning practice. This blog is part of an assignment for the teacher-librarian course. Here is a Voicethread I created about my technology journey so far. I plan to use this blog to chronicle my journey as I 'boldly go' into uncharted territory (for me at least) on the web.
