Jing is a free download screen capture tool. After some research into Jing, I found that the techsmith site for Jing tutorials was the most helpful. They have great videos with step by step instructions on how to make a single screen capture and how to create videos. Here is the Jing tutorial on how to create a screencast video- very helpful! I am planning to use Jing to create a video reminder of how to post a book review on our online catalog. I hope that having reminders about how to use various features of our online library system as well as the e-resources our school district subscribes to will help staff, students and parents to access these resources more frequently.
